The Cries of Men : Life in Times of Catastrophe

same Nasa url as the last one please

Taken for granted

is the nature by men;

The grief, the sorrow, the pain they cause,

Nature’s basket is spoilt to rot.

She then curse us

with floods and droughts.

Amidst the fury,

the Loves all lost.

No more the Mother

that she used to be;

feeding her children,

with love, light and comfort.

All’s lost in the turbulence,

and we did need many an ambulance.

Infinite men lost at sea,

to grim unknown future

wanting to flee.

Men, women and children,

all crying for salvation;

dying fruitlessly due to starvation.

Mother Nature’s fury unleashed

to its full extent,

Amidst the chaos

do I sit and wonder

in full context.

If only had we given her some respect,

We never would’ve heard the cries of men.
