False Facade

She said she loved him with all her heart.

That wasn’t true.

He dropped her Birkin.

She wished to tear him apart!

  1. I love the humour of this little piece, Hannah. Well, it certainly made me smile, even though your character might have been screaming for her boyfriend’s blood! A Birkin is a sacred object, after all! 🙂

haha it is so true! 😀 I’m so happy you liked it!
By the way, your piece “The Village Pond” was exceptionally good; the last line was hauntingly beautiful! 🙂

      • I must get myself a Birkin bag! 😀 As for my story, I love writing historical stuff and the witch hunts fascinate and appal me enough to write about them. It was a dreadful time to be a woman! Thanks, Hannah. 😀

      • Haha, yes I too wish to be a happy owner one day! 🙂
Reading your story, I felt this sense of relief & comfort, that we’re present in a different millennium; though I feel much saddened by the past reality.
And you did a good job with your writing & supplication of historic facts!
        Keep it up, Millie! 🙂

  2. Ahahahahah such a funny poem you are very talented coming up with such good posts. I once heard a quote that said you should never play around with a woman’s purse.
Btw I nominated you for the Sisterhood of the World Award if you could come to my blog and see the rules I will truly appreciate it. I’m looking forward for your answers.
